Very Charming and Quaint Restorable Trailer! Be ready for summer travel fun!
Restorable condition 1955 rainbow vintage travel trailer. This is very cute and very quaint and cute and affordable. This is a collectible trailer in very restorable condition, and its ready for you to restore!
The exterior is that great 1950s tin can look and will look great in your driveway, with you at the beach or even for Friday night poker parties
It has that wonderful wood grain inside, propane stove and tongue mounted propane tank, ice box with drain, Electric lights throughout, propane lamp and Coleman lantern, sink, with sink drain, hand pump, water hook up, a few 110 V outlets, rooftop crank open vent, windows that open and close fully. exterior lights, turn signals, tongue jack, bed and hammock, full closets, all original wood and cabinets, several drawers, eating table that converts to a bed and that cute rainbow wooden screen door (see photos)
It has 2 extra rims and 2 tires, older linoleum floor, water holding tank, leveling jacks for bumper or tongue.
Note: this trailer has been sitting stored for a number of years and the top vent and rear window have leaked a little (see photos). The wood interior is stained and damaged in some areas. However the price reflects that and this is a good project trailer that will make you proud when you finish the restoration!
There are two cracked windows needing replacement. There is a dent in the drivers side front corner that can be repaired easily from underneath- all of the metal is present, just needs straightening.
The bed mattress big enough for 2 adults, the overhead hammock will sleep one teen or child and the kitchen table becomes a bed. There is a lot of storage and cabinets over the kitchen area and under the closet and under the bed and the front seats.
The interior is tall enough for to allow 6 feet and taller to stand
Pick up is in Lakewood, California (Zipcode 90713) near 91 and 605 Freeways. I can coordinate with your shipper or moving company if you but the trailer. The tires hold air and it has been recently towed to present location. I recommend you transport it on a flat bed trailer or similar.
Check out the other trailers listed and sold on Ebay and other trailer sales sites. This trailer is a bargain at this price!
The trailer is towable and has 2 tires and 2 spare tires, however better to transport with a flat bed trailer.
Some of the photos show the extra rims, the tires are inflated and hold air. The trailer has been cleaned off and it is empty of the stored items it had.
