SHORT SCOOP: Degreed with 2+ yrs exp in financial analysis; Excel, cash flow modeling & variance analysis a must. Cost/project accting, OLAP, Cognos & Siebel a plus. CPA/MBA preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Researches, analyzes, builds models, and summarizes various projects
* Assists with ad hoc projects, prices packaging products for new launches, promotions, and other special initiatives
* Updates, analyzes, and reports on raw material agreement control and impact
* Develops project budgets and tracks actual results
* Creates intercompany invoices for project allocations
* Writes and runs queries from data warehouse using Siebel for project analysis
* Creates quarterly packaging cost forecasts and other associated tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors degree in finance or related field; MBA and CPA preferred
* 2+ yrs exp in finance or business analysis
* Exp using standard analytical methodologies such as cash flow modeling, variance analysis, etc.
* Exp with MS Excel (developing financial models) required
* Cost accounting and/or project accounting exp a plus
* Exp using OLAP or other database query tools (i.e. Cognos or Siebel Analytics) a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Exp and thorough knowledge of math and statistics
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
* Ability to work under tight timelines in a team environment.
