LOCATION: San Francisco Brewing Company, 155 Columbus St., at Pacific and Kearney, in the North Beach area of San Francisco CA 94133. This is San Francisco’s oldest brewery and is also the last standing bar of the wicked Barbary Coast. This lovely building is on the National Registry of Historic Places. JACK DEMPSEY worked as a bouncer at this saloon, on his way to winning the Heavyweight Boxing Championship of the world.
