September 3, 1947 - August 14, 2008 Martha Ruby Archuleta was born on September 3, 1947 to Cecelia Trujillo and Leo Allen, whom preceded her into heaven. She left this life in the comfort of her home, after a lengthy battle with illness, her family by her side, on August 14, 2008. Martha is survived by her loving husband, Joe B. Archuleta of 46 years, her children Wanda, Tony, Joe Jr., Lupita, Patricia, Fidelia, and her two daughters Susan and Juanita whom awaited her in heaven. She was a grandmother of 28 children and great-grandmother of 8 children. She is also survived by her two sisters, Norma and Pauline, three brothers, Carlos, Henry, and Floyd, and step-mother, Estella Bargesser, Martha was a native of Colorado Springs her whole life, a dedicated mother and homemaker, who raised her family in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Viewing will be held at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO, on Wednesday, August 20 from 5:00PM - 8:30PM, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 331 Main St., Security, CO on Thursday, August 21 at 11:00AM. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall. |
