RICARDO L. CATTAN HAMMOND, IN Ricardo L. Cattan, age 82, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the Hospice Calumet Area Riley Center in Munster, IN. Ricardo was born on November 22, 1925 to Joseph Cattan and Aurora Lara Cattan in Gary, IN. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Celia Cattan; four loving children: Richard Cattan, David Cattan, Sally (Michael) Leal and Martin (Teresa) Cattan; eight loving grandchildren: Destiny, Michael, Jason, Christy, Elijah, Matthew, Sheri and Adrianna; seven loving great granddaughters; and two loving great grandsons. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 W. Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219-980-5555). The Celebration of Life for Ricardo L. Cattan will be a Mass at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N. Broad Street, Griffith, IN with Father Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Ricardo was retired from Standard Forgings Company. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and dear friends. May God Grant Him Eternal Rest. |
