Hello,
My name is Monica Gustafson with Tanner & Associates. Our firm is actively seeking assertive people to perform occupancy verifications and inspections for Bank owned properties in your area. To qualify for the position you must have a vehicle, digital camera and computer.
The following is a detailed explanation of the position:
You do not need an inspectors license to perform these inspections and we will provide training for all accepted candidates. We are expecting to receive our next batch of inspections on or between the 13th and the 15th of September so I only have the next few weeks to see who is right for the job and to complete the necessary training. We are tentatively planning to interview and train each of you via webinar and individual phone calls. I will have the training dates and specifics by early next week. The volume of orders you will receive is expected to be approx. 400-700 orders depending on your capability, performance and general area volume. This breaks down to 50-80 orders per person per day. Some rural areas will not have as many orders. We will try to cluster the orders by proximity to each inspector’s coverage area. Once we receive orders on the 15th we will have 8 days to turn them around. The bulk of the work comes in around the 15th of every month, and after the 8 day turn around time you will still continue to receive orders but at a lesser volume. Each inspection on average only takes +/- 3 to 5 minutes and photos of each property’s address (either on front of house or painted on the curb) and a front picture of the property are mandatory to prove that you were actually there. More of this will be covered during training. The minimum rate of pay is $4 per inspection, which at 50 inspections (which is conservative) is $200 a day. We are currently working with our clients to receive higher fees for the inspections, so in the near future the fee will probably go up.
You will be responsible at days end to upload photos of inspections completed to our clients website.
You will be a part of a new team of inspectors in your area that will be trained and designated for this particular client but within a couple of months, (assuming good performance) you will be integrated in with other inspectors from your area to perform inspections for other established clients as well.
If you are interested please reply ASAP so that we may arrange webinar training for next week. Without completion of this training session you will not be eligible for this work.
If hired, you will be considered a “sub-contractor” for Tanner & Associates not an employee. As such you will need to provide either a valid Social Security number or an Employee Identification number (EIN), fill out and sign an IRS W-9 form so that you can receive an IRS form 1099 at years end. You will be responsible for filing your own taxes.
If interested, please provide what counties you cover; if you only cover certain areas of a county, please provide zip codes covered.
Also, here are the next 2 webinar sessions… Keep in mind that these times are EST. If interested let me know and I will email you the webinar invite.
