Who Needs an EPA Certification card?
All technicians who service or work on large or small Appliances, air conditioners, heat pumps, refrigeration equipment, chillers, industrial process equipment, etc., or reclaim refrigerants must carry an EPA 608 Card, Contractors, Business owners, Managers, Stockers, and technicians should carry one as well.
An EPA 608 Certification Card
Is a requirement of The Clean Air Act (40CFR Sec 82.161.) To purchase refrigerants from distributors and Wholesalers.
