SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOP



Ivy Omere, Former member of the English Shakespeare Company (current member of The Actors Studio) is conducting a Shakespeare workshop. Focusing on ’A Midsummer Nights Dream’, participants will have the opportunity to discover keys to Shakespeares world, hear Shakespeare himself direct you through the text, learn to confidently bring life to his characters, and gain practical techniques from a working actor. Ivy Omere has trained at the Webber Douglas Drama Academy with experience in leading roles in London and elsewhere. The workshop will be held Mondays 7-10 p.m., Oct. 13 - Nov. 10th at Studio 353 in NYC.



Seeking—Actors. Note: Those who love Shakespeare but feel a little intimidated by the Bard are welcome. Opportunity to overcome your fears and find your authentic voice.



Interview/sign-up will be held Sept. 29 & Oct. 6, 7-9 p.m. at Studio 353, W. 48th St. (btw. 8th and 9th aves.), NYC. 

Present a monologue representing what you do best.
