Divin Enfant Jésus Christ dOrléans et de Jefferson is a Christian support group For All of Orleans and Jefferson Parish which includes Metairie, Kenner, River Ridge, Jefferson, Harahan, Elmwood, Marrero, Terrytown, Harvey, Gretna, Estelle, Woodmere, Timberlane, Westwego,Waggerman, Bridge City, Avondale,Jean Lafitte, Lafitte, Barataria and Grand Isle. And Jefferson Parish parents who have chosen to homeschool or unschool their children. (Gods Precious Gifts).
We have pre-planned Group Homeschoolers and Unschoolers Cruises through Caribbean Cruises throughout the year. We have field trips, academic fairs, sports, play dates, graduations, year end events, summer camps or vacations, as well as community outreach programs and missions. Weekly co-op classes for our members includes Hebrew, Aramaic, French, Spanish, Art, Crafts, Music, Drama,4-H and even more.
Divin Enfant Jésus Christ dOrléans et de Jefferson may be the only home school in Louisiana that have Education Co-op and activities for Babies and Toddies. You dont have to wait for your children to be 4-5 years old to start homeschooling your children. Fundamently, Homeschooling starts at Home when your child comes Home from the Hospital. The Mother IS the First TEACHER. Scientific research also have proven that children of infancy to toddler ages read fast, excel in School and comprehend the material grander rate than 4 and 5 year olds just entering school.. What are we waiting for? Wasnt this the Whole purpose of Homeschooling in the First Place other than Religious, Personal or Financial Reasons. Our Homeschool Support Group has a support structure for those who are or have a spouse and/or child who is ill or disabled. Our Members take rotated schedule with your home school your child (ren). Free of charge to you) Why should you and your family have to go back to public or private school because unforeseen mishap. We are Brothren. We are here to Help. We also have an evacuation plan, no-one left behind and with out supplies. |
