Live In Housekeeper

I am a woman who has suffered some hard knocks in life, and now find myself broke and living with my parents. I am trying to find a position as a live in housekeeper. I would like to live in with a family, and cook, clean, and run errands for them.
I am a legal citizen, and would be willing to consent to a background check as well as a drug screen and health exam.
I have no experience as a live in housekeeper, though I have always been a very tidy person, and have actually worked previously as a housekeeper in hotels motels.
I am a receptionist by trade. I have held many temp agency clerical positions, yet have not been able to land a permanent position yet.
I would like to return to school to improve my skills, and feel that working as a live in housekeeper would enable me to do that.
I am very quiet, and keep mostly to myself. I do smoke, but would only do so outside. I am also allergic to cats.
I currently reside in Kendallville, Indiana, but am willing to relocate.
